Awesome New Republic began pummeling Miami in 2004, hopping between art galleries, warehouses, clubs, movie theatres, and the like. Over the years, they developed a dedicated fan-base in South Florida as well as the rest of the world. They released the full length ANR So Far along with the All Party Talks twelve inch, and then proceeded to break up. Many were bummed, including the ANR themselves. With the recent addition of a new rhythm section, the former drum and keyboard duo have reunited in a permanent state, returning to what they do best…playing live. Enjoy their mix of post-punk energy, deranged pop hooks, and an unashamed love for jamming at this year’s Langerado!
